My posts are generally inspired from my own photography. Photography is a big passion of mine, and is almost like an escape, in a sense. This photo was taken during a beautiful sunset in the summer, as you may tell. What could be more relaxing than just watching the sun set to the landscape of a beautiful lake – not much, my friends, not much.
I feel as though sometimes people are so caught up with their habits of work, etc., that sometimes they forget to enjoy what life has in store. Mind you, I too am a student and fully understand that work is quite a priority, and as are jobs, etc.
But, at the end of the day, you should have something in it for you as well.
It is good to take a break from our hectic and stressful lives and just enjoy what is happening around you. Take a moment and indulge in, say, a bubble bath. Now when was the last time you grabbed a book and just took a relaxing bath? Why not go for a walk, and not set a time limit, or better yet, don’t check the time so often.
I find people can be so stressed these days, and with good reason. Our lives are rather hectic. This is understandable. But it’s good to be able to look back on to these days and have memories one could cherish for a lifetime – as cheesy as it sounds, it’s true. The memories you make will last a lifetime. If you make no memories and stick by the books, well, live a little!
As Ferris Bueller said, “Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.”
